Create a letter F for Fox
Your child will enjoy creating this craft and simultaneously learning about the different letters.
This craft teaches your child how to create the letter F by cutting out different shapes from construction paper and then gluing them together.
Start by downloading a template of a fox head (or any other animal you want) onto your computer, or find one on Google Images. Print it out on standard printer paper in color, and cut out all the pieces. You will also need some green construction paper for tails and ears, yellow ink pens or crayons for eyes, white glue, tape measure/exact to the knife, scissors, acrylic paints in red, orange, yellow, brown (optional), black marker, foam-core board.
To make the body of your fox: Draw two diagonal lines down each side of the head’s face; these will be its shoulders.
Then draw four more lines coming off those shoulders that intersect with each other at right angles to form an X shape; this is where your fox’s chest should be.
Next, draw another vertical line just above that horizontal line to create a neck area.
Finally, add small Details like whiskers around both eyes and muzzle using the black marker. Cut out these details with scissors before assembling everything else, including arms & legs.
Your child can start by painting their own eyes using various colors of paint pen or crayon as desired once they are happy with their appearance, Tape.
